Introducing Polymer: The Leading Applicant Tracking System for Small Businesses

Andrew Dumont

Things are still rolling over here at Curious.

Following our acquisition of Avenue, we’re happy to announce that we’ve acquired Polymer, which we believe is the best hiring platform that exists today. Built by an incredibly talented engineer and designer in Andrew and Corey, Polymer does an wonderful job of blending simplicity with powerful functionality.

We’ve been using it at Curious for over a year and rely on it for all of our hiring, which you can see in practice at careers.curious.vc.

For everyone that isn’t familiar with Polymer, it’s an applicant tracking system at its core. Polymer allows you to create a simple careers page and publish your jobs to it, while allowing you to distribute those jobs to platforms like LinkedIn, X, WeWorkRemotely, and more to attract candidates to your open positions. It's the dedicated homepage for your hiring and culture.

The power and simplicity of Polymer shines when applicants come in. Out of the box, you can create powerful tagging and workflows to respond to and evaluate candidates quickly, saving hours on manual filtering. Polymer also makes it very simple to add hiring managers to certain roles, add additional organization categories (as we have on careers.curious.vc based on portfolio company) — making it the perfect fit for funds or agencies that have multiple companies or clients.

Polymer was built explicitly for small businesses and startups, but with how well the platform scales, it’s one of the few products in the space that can truly grow with you.

We’re honored to help take forward Polymer, with Jessica Gertig staying with us as the CEO.

Watch this space, we have big ambitions for what Polymer can become.
