The software you rely on is part of Curious. Here's what happens after.

If you use a product from a company we've acquired, this page is for you. It covers who we are, what we commit to, and how the product you use gets better from here.

A long-term holding company, not a fund.

Curious buys software companies and operates them for decades. We don't raise money with a clock on it, and we don't resell what we buy. Six companies so far; we still operate all of them.

We Acquire

We buy established software companies from founders who want their product to outlast their time running it. We pay cash and close within 60 days, so the business is never left in limbo.

We Operate

Each company keeps its name and its product. Our operators work alongside the team on product, design, growth and finance, and take the back office off their plate.

Decades, Not Days

Each acquisition is made in the frame of decades. We're focused on legacy, resilience and continuous reinvention, not raising additional funds or future exits.

Nothing breaks. Things just get better.

01Day one

Your product keeps working.

Same product, same login, same support channels. An acquisition changes who owns the company, not the software you use. There's nothing you need to do.

02The first months

We listen first.

Our operators spend time with the team and with customers to learn what the product does well and where it falls short. The roadmap comes from that, not from a spreadsheet.

03The first year

We invest.

Engineering, infrastructure, security and support get the attention they need. Where a team is short on people, we hire.

04The years after

We keep going.

We don't sell the companies we buy. The plan is to run this product for decades and keep improving it the whole time.

What you can count on.

The Product Keeps Moving

We keep building. New features, fixes and improvements continue after the acquisition, shaped by what customers tell us they need.

Support Holds or Improves

You can still reach the people who help you, through the channels you already use. If support needs more hands, we add them.

Profits Go Back In

There's no fund to return and no sale to prepare for. What the business earns goes back into the product and the team that builds it.

How we improve what we buy

We buy companies to build them.

Our team has spent over two decades operating software companies. We're builders, not bankers, and the work shows up in the product you use.

A shared back office

Finance, legal and HR are handled across Curious, so each company's team spends its time on the product.

Operator playbooks

Twenty-plus years of running software companies: customer acquisition, growth, product design and financial management.

Engineering and infrastructure

We invest in the work that keeps software dependable: security, uptime and the systems underneath.

Support and success

We hire into the teams that talk to customers every day.

Learning across companies

Six companies share what works. A fix found at one is a head start for the others.
